As part of the Protection, Shelter, CCCM and Emergency Assistance Activities for IDPs and Returnees project, and with funding from #UNHCR, #Nahda_Makers Organization rehabilitated the Hasanat Road in the Sala District of Taiz with the aim of improving the infrastructure and alleviating the suffering of residents and passersby on this vital road.
The Hasanat Road connects six villages in the district and is one of the rough roads that the residents of the area faced difficulty in using. The rehabilitation included paving the road with a length of 200 meters and an area of 830 square meters, benefiting about 5,900 people, using local stones available in the area.
The project aims to improve vital roads by restoring damaged parts, removing obstacles, and exploiting local labor through the "Work for Pay" program, which contributed to improving protection, meeting the immediate needs of the population, and providing a safe and comfortable road for movement.
