Within the Shelter / CCCM Sector, #NMO_ORG continues to implement the activities of the Shelter and Non-Food Items and CCCM Project, funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre and with support of #UNHCR
Recently, the organization implemented various activities and distributions, which worked to provide the most important and basic relief materials to the IDPs and beneficiaries in the targeted areas.
Where the organization worked to target the IDPs and the host community by distributing Non-Food Items (NFIs) to a total of 13,402 families, it also worked to target the IDPs by distributing emergency shelters kits (ESKs) for a total of 4943 families and plastic sheet for 315 families, in addition to in-kind distribution for winter for 823 families, all in Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Taiz and Hodeida.
This distribution aims to reduce the burden on the beneficiaries by providing the most important basic materials to maintain their dignity due to the difficult living conditions they face as a result of displacement in the camps.
In fact the project will work in the coming days to complete distributions to various regions. It will also work on distributing cash transfers within the shelter maintenance activity in Aden, Lahj, Taiz and Hodeidah, and will also work on implementing a home maintenance activity in Taiz.
