#NMO_ORG implements the training workshop in preparing the general strategic plan for women's development

Within the Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen -   #SIERY project, which is funded by the #European_Union , and Implemented by  #UNDP , through Nahda Makers  #NMO , in coordination with the Ministry of Local Authority the training workshop in preparing the general strategic plan for women's development is implemented.

This workshop, which comes as part of the activity of Institutional and capacity building for Women affairs Administrations for women's development in the Ministry of Local Administration and Diwans of local authorities, which targets participants from the governorates: Aden, Lahj, Taiz, Ma’rib, Hadramout, with 38 participants from the directors and employees of the women’s development departments in the Ministry of Administration in the local governorates and districts, 5 members of the general directors of the Women's Development Department in the governorates were also involved: Abyan, Al-Dhalea, Shabwa, Al-Mahra, Socotra.

This training workshop will provide training on several topics, including: concepts and themes about understanding and recognizing the importance, objectives, types and concept of strategic planning, applying and using strategic planning methodology and tools, and conducting strategic analysis of the internal and external environment using SWOT analysis, PESTEL.

The workshop also dealt with other concepts related to preparing a vision, mission, values, objectives of the strategic plan, formulating measurable objectives, including indicators, and defining programs and projects according to the specified criteria.

The workshop was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Administration, Mr. Awad Mushabah, the Director of the #SIERY project, Mr. Stephen Schmidt, the Chairman of the National Committee for Women, Ms. Shafiqa Saeed, the Director General of Women's Affairs at the Ministry of Local Administration, Ms. Fatima Safian, in addition to the Executive Director of the Nahda Makers Organization and the project team.
