In line with promoting the principle of social responsibility and aiming to mitigate the impacts of the recent floods and heavy rainfall that struck Aden Governorate, a large-scale campaign was launched to pump out accumulated rainwater and remove debris from several affected neighborhoods in Aden. The campaign was supported from the Al-Shumul Islamic Microfinance Bank and in partnership with #Nahda_Makers Organization.
This intervention came as an urgent response to the damage caused by the floods in several areas of Aden, where heavy rains led to flooding in numerous streets and homes, along with significant waste accumulation, negatively impacting traffic movement and residents' safety.
The campaign included pumping out rainwater and removing debris from the affected neighborhoods using specialized field equipment to ensure a swift response and reduce environmental and health risks.
This initiative reflects the commitment to corporate social responsibility and the dedication to supporting humanitarian and developmental efforts by providing rapid solutions that help protect residents and improve the city’s environment.
