Within the shelter sector and within its project in Shelter and Non Food Items Distribution, #NMO_ORG recently distributed non-food items to newly displaced people affected by the conflict, IDPs who are sleeping outside, and vulnerable cases of IDPs with the support of #UNHCR
The distribution was done to 300 beneficiaries in Lahj governorate "Al Hidd District", and to 427 beneficiaries in Taiz governorate: districts of Al Ma'afer, Jabal Habashi, Maqbna and Al Mokha.
All with the aim of alleviating the burden on the displaced and providing the most important and basic relief materials to preserve their dignity and to ensure that they do not sit in the open due to their displacement from their areas as a result of the conflict.
Where all this was done considering to take all precautionary measures to raise awareness about the Corona covid_19 and to provide sterile water for washing hands in addition to sterilizing hands and imposing social distancing measures.
