#NMO_ORG implements the activity operation and maintenance of diesel generators from the mechanical and electrical side

Within the activities aimed at training the individual and building skills, #NMO_ORG implemented the activity of operating and maintaining diesel generators from the mechanical and electrical side, with the support of #UNDP and fund from the #Government_of_Japan , within the project of crisis support to solid waste, water supply and sewage institutions in Mukalla and Aden.

By training 7 trainees from the employees of the solid waste, water supply and sewage institutions in Mukalla on several topics, the most important of which are:

1- Introduction to internal and external combustion engines.

2- Systems that operate on internal combustion engines (diesel engines).

3- The difference between gasoline engines and diesel engines.

4- Introducing to the work of sensors in modern diesel engines.

5- Precautions when using electric diesel engines.

6- Discussing mechanical faults and problems facing diesel engines.

7- The practical aspect (electric diesel engines in the central workshop of the Water and Sewerage Corporation).

This course aims to provide participants with new information about modern diesel engines with modern protection systems and methods of knowing faults and making use of this information in practice.
