Rehabilitation of health facilities improves the health of our village`s citizen Maqatera is one of Districts in Lahj. That was targeted by The Integrated Wash response project in high food insecurity and malnutrition district in Lahj. The mainobjective of the project was that the district suffers from a lack of basic services inits health facilities such as (electricity, hands washing Premises, the incineratorsused to burn waste. Here comes the intervention of The Integrated WASH response project in high food insecurity and malnutrition district in Lahj.Implemented by #Nahd_Makers_Organization and funded by #UNOCHA Through the visit of Nahda Makers Team to Alhanisha area, the team met Dr.Shokria Abdulghani Saif Ahmed – The Health Facility Manager-in Alhanisha areawhich located in Al Maqatera District Lahj Governorate.
Dr. Shokria Abdulghani Saif Ahmed expressed her happiness of the intervention of Nahda Makersorganization in repairing the Health Facility in the area, which included; provisionof solar system, Build hand washing premises, building the incinerator of thehealth facility The Health Facility was connected to a water source (well), which was rehabilitated by Nahda Makers organization, and the health facility was alsoprovided with water from another well during the project period ,moreover, thehealth facilities were provided with 2,500-liter plastic tanks
