As part of the “Rebuilding Early Childhood Education in Yemen” Project, funded by #CRS and led by the Training and Capacity Building Sector in coordination with the #Aden Governorate Education Office, #Nahda_Makers Organization implemented the "Teacher Training on the Early Childhood Education Curriculum Guide" activity.
The program targeted 202 kindergarten teachers, aiming to enhance their skills and capacities for effectively implementing the early childhood education curriculum.
The training covered a set of core topics designed to strengthen teachers’ competencies and improve the quality of the educational process. It focused on introducing teachers to the curriculum foundations, identifying children’s various areas of development, and equipping them with knowledge of the teacher’s pivotal role in implementing educational experiences. Additionally, it aimed to enable teachers to employ modern teaching and learning strategies, develop continuous assessment skills and tools within the kindergarten environment, enhance effective communication and classroom management skills, and strengthen their ability to activate the learning environment, transforming it into a stimulating space for children.
This training is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts within the project to enhance the quality of early childhood education and ensure the preparation of qualified teachers capable of providing a safe and stimulating learning environment, thereby contributing to the overall development and growth of children during the early stages of their education.
