#Nahda_Makers implements activities of the project “Building Resilience through integrated community-based and humanitarian systems transformation and leadership in Yemen (BRIGHTLY)”

 With funding from #FCDO and in partnership with #NRC, #NMO has implemented the project “Building Resilience through integrated community-based and humanitarian systems transformation and leadership in Yemen (BRIGHTLY)”, which aims to support local communities in strengthening livelihoods and improving food security through comprehensive training and development programs.

The project carried out a package of specialized activities in Taiz Governorate – Jabal Habashi District, including:

• Kick-off workshop with local authorities to enhance coordination and ensure effective participation throughout the implementation phases.
• Businesses Management  Training for IGA grant beneficiaries for beneficiaries of income-generating assistance, aimed at empowering them to establish small and sustainable businesses.
• Training on agronomic on appropriate practices for Agricultural  inputs beneficiaries to improve agricultural productivity using modern and enhanced techniques.
• Livelihoods start-up grants for assorted IGAs to participants, providing them with a real opportunity to launch their own projects.

A total of 426 beneficiaries took part in these activities, with the aim of improving livelihoods, strengthening agricultural structures, and enabling families to sustainably and independently secure their food needs. The project also provided follow-up, evaluation, and guidance to ensure the success of the newly established initiatives.

This project comes as part of efforts to support the most vulnerable communities through development programs that enhance the economic and social resilience of families in these areas.
