As part of the "Food to Resilience" project, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center #KSR, and in partnership with the World Food Programme #WFP, #NMO_ORG , with the contribution of local communities, has begun the agricultural land reclamation activity in the districts of Seiyun, Shibam, Al-Qatn, Wadi Al-Ain, Douan, and Rakhyah in Hadhramaut Governorate.
This activity, which is being implemented, works to reclaim fallow lands, thus turning them into fertile arable land for planting various crops.
The activity aims to benefit 961 beneficiaries, including farm owners, farmers, and those with agricultural-related professions, who were selected within the project, from the reclamation of these agricultural lands by providing them with safety equipment, work tools, work materials, and the necessary benefits.
This activity aims to transform these lands into fertile, arable land, directly contributing to enabling farming families to produce diverse crops and enhancing their ability to adapt to economic and environmental challenges, thus enhancing long-term food security.
