#Nahda_Makers launches A kickoff Workshop for The Project Yemen Joint Response

Funded by #DRA and in partnership with  and within the food security and livelihood projects, #Nahda_Makers launched a kickoff workshop for the project Yemen joint response in Lahj governorate - Tuban district.

This inaugural workshop brought together representatives from government agencies and relevant stakeholders to present the project's components, which focus on agriculture in Lahj Governorate, explore ways to collaborate to ensure its successful implementation on the ground, and familiarize stakeholders with the project.

This workshop also provided an overview of the project's objectives, activities, and expected outcomes for all stakeholders, including beneficiaries, community members, and partners, highlighting the importance of sustainable practices and the community's role in the project's success, enhancing resilience and self-sufficiency in the long term.

The workshop was attended by a number of government figures and representatives, most notably [The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries for the Irrigation and Land Reclamation Sector, "Ahmed Mohammed Al-Zamki" - the Undersecretary of the Production Sector at the Ministry of Agriculture, Director of the Agriculture Office in Lahj Governorate, "Abdulmalik Naji" - The Governor's Advisor for Organizational Affairs in Lahj, "Omar Muqbil Al-Samati" - The Directors General of Social Affairs and Labor in Lahj Governorate - representatives of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation - The Coordinator of the Dutch Relief Coalition, "Youssef Al-Qutari", The Program Director at the #Cordaid Organization, "Mundhir Al-Saqqaf", and #NMO team represented by its Executive Director, Mr. "Mohamed Al-Sayed"].

It's worth noting that this project will also be implemented in Ma'rib Governorate, targeting a total of 7,300 beneficiaries. It aims to raise the level of humanitarian response in crisis-affected areas.
