The organization has launched its first activity under this project by training 9 healthcare workers, including staff from Al-Shaheed Hospital, the Psychosocial Support Clinic, and selected candidates from the Marib Health Office, as part of the psychosocial support and psychological first aid training.
The training aimed to:
- Enhance participants' understanding of the principles of psychological first aid.
- Develop their skills in providing psychosocial support.
- Empower them to effectively and humanely respond to individuals affected by crises.
This training is part of the broader project framework that seeks to strengthen mental health services by providing psychological, mental, and social healthcare including medical consultations, doctors, medications, and awareness campaigns through the support of health centers and the establishment of mobile clinics.
