Funded by #BMZ and in partnership with #WFP, the #Nahda_Makers Organization distributed the Vocational Kits for FFT beneficiaries in Hadhramaut as part of the “Food to Resilience” project #FuTuRe
The organization distributed a set of 327 professional bags to the project beneficiaries, who numbered 327 beneficiaries in the directorates of Seiyun, Shibam, Al-Qatn and Wadi Al-Ain, which contained a set of professional tools and equipment that will help the beneficiaries to start or develop their own profession so that they can earn a permanent and sufficient income that will make them independent of receiving direct food aid.
The organization has previously trained these beneficiaries in 10 practical courses, including:
Tailoring and Sewing - Blacksmithing and Welding - Plumbing - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning- Smart Phone Maintenance- Auto Care Mechanic- Auto Car Electrician- Solar System Technician- Pastry Making- Agricultural Machinery Maintenance.
As a result, the organization distributed these kits, which contain a number of tools such as sewing machines, fabrics, ovens, refrigerators, ladders, electrical maintenance and inspection equipment, and other tools that will give them the opportunity to start or develop their own project, enabling them to achieve a sustainable and sufficient income that will make them independent of direct food aid.
