#Nahda_Makers implements the activity of Rehabilitate school's buildings and building additional classrooms (TLCs)

Within Integrated response of  Protection, CCCM and Shelter to address the urgent needs for IDPs and HC in Maqbana in Taiz, and Education project in Maqbana and Hays in Taiz and Hudaydah, , and with the support of #YHF, the #NMO_ORG implemented rehabilitate school's buildings, building additional classrooms (TLCs), supplying and installing a solar energy system, Provision of school furniture in Khawla and Aisha Schools in Hays District.

This implemented activity targeted the two schools with a total of 1614 students, where the organization worked on renovating the two school buildings (classrooms and offices) with sanitary facilities (bathrooms), building two additional classrooms in Aisha School, and providing solar energy systems with school furniture.

All this is aimed at improving the capacity and quality of schools in hard-to-reach areas to contain displacement rates, which enhances the continuity of education and provides a safe environment for students.

This project comes within the education and child protection sector, where the organization has previously implemented many projects targeting students and teachers and their return to study in supportive and educational environments.
