With support from #YHF, #Nahda_Makers organization is currently implementing the integrated response of Protection, CCCM and Shelter to address the urgent needs for IDPs and HC and Education Project, which targets the governorates of Taiz and Al-Hudaydah.
This project, which is being implemented, works to target the protection, shelter, camp management and coordination sector in (Taiz), Maqbana District, and the education and child protection sectors in Maqbana and Hays Districts (Taiz & Al-Hudaydah) Governorates.
Recently, the organization has worked to implement many activities related to the protection, shelter, camp management and coordination sector in Maqbanah, which targets the IDPs and the host community, with 158 families in the shelter and 532 families related to the Community-led Projects Activities
The organization worked to provide and install Transitional Shelter Kite (TSK) and implement Community-led projects activities related to camp management and coordination. It also worked to hold many meetings such as (the monthly coordination meeting and regular meeting with community committees at the sites, in addition to forming community committees and training them, as well as training local authorities on camp coordination and management and capacity building).
It is noteworthy that the organization is continuing to implement the project activities and will work in the coming days to pave roads and install solar lighting in these camps as part of community leadership activities.
