#NMO_ORG begins implementing provision of shelter and NFI emergency and durable solutions project to reduce protection risks and improve living conditions for the most vulnerable IDPs and Returnees

Within the shelter / CCCM sector, and with funding from #YHF, #Nahda_Makers organization has started implementing its new project, which is “Provision of Shelter and NFI emergency and durable solutions to reduce protection risks and improve living conditions for the most vulnerable IDPs and Returnees in Khanfir district in Abyan Governorate, and Mawza districts in Taiz Governorate”.

 

This project, which the organization is working on, will improve the living conditions of vulnerable groups by targeting 640 internally IDPs, 140 returnees, and 60 families residing in the governorates of Abyan and Taiz, by providing assistance in providing shelter and shelter materials in emergencies, shelter maintenance and improvement, and rehabilitation of damaged houses.

The most vulnerable populations with depleted or destroyed homes will be restored to permanent shelter through:

  1. Shelter maintenance and upgrade through distribution of cash transfers.
  2. Rehabilitation of damaged homes.
  3. Distribution of shelter and NFIs.

All of this aims to provide full benefit to the most vulnerable people through assistance and improve the living conditions of the displaced, returnees and the most vulnerable families.
