#NMO_ORG concludes “Provision of Emergency, Life-saving Assistance to the Most Vulnerable IDPs" project

Within the food security and livelihoods sector, #Nahda_makers organization concluded “Provision of Emergency, Life-saving Assistance to the Most Vulnerable IDPs" project in Qataba district, Al-Dhalea governorate, funded by #YHF

This project, which was implemented, mainly targeted IDPs and the host community who are facing severe hunger as a result of the difficult and catastrophic living conditions they suffer in that district by distributing cash transfers in several different rounds.

Where the organization distributed “Cash for Food” transfers over 6 rounds to 1,029 families, all to meet the basic food needs of the displaced in order to increase the availability and access to food for the most vulnerable families to reduce starvation, malnutrition and restore livelihoods.

The project also contributed to reducing extreme hunger among highly vulnerable families through the distribution of unconditional food transfers.

The organization concluded this project with a final workshop with the local authority and community committees, in which the intervention mechanism and the progress of the project's activities during the implementation period were discussed and the efforts made during the project in that directorate were valued.
