#NMO_ORG holds TOT-3 training workshop for DFTs on (Banding Plan with Budgets and Developing Budgets)

Within the Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen - #SIERY project, which is funded by the #European_Union, and Implemented by the #UNDP, through Nahda Makers, in coordination with the Ministry of Local Authority, TOT-3 training workshop was hold for DFTs on (Banding Plan with Budgets and Developing Budgets).

This training, which was held, targeted 60 trainees from the governorate's core facilitators teams in "Aden - Hadramout al-Wadi - Marib - Lahj - Taiz."

They were trained over five days in which participants from the governorate’s primary facilitator teams trained the basic skills in preparing the cost of the district’s development plan, preparing budgets, estimating, and forecasting revenues, understanding the investment program, preparing an operation and maintenance program, preparing a capacity development and improvement program, classifying and approving the budget and linking budget plan, procedures for approving the budget and plan.

All of this with the aim of enhancing the capabilities of the participants in how to prepare and develop the budget of the local authority of the district and link it to the plan.

The project continues in its plan to implement training, which will build their capacities to enhance institutional and economic flexibility and improve (basic) service delivery.
