#NMO_ORG implements Local Management System and Conflict sensitivity training for civil society organizations and community committees

Within the Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen -  #SIERY  project, which is funded by the #European_Union , and Implemented by #UNDP , through Nahda Makers #NMO, in coordination with the Ministry of Local Authority, #SIERY project continues to implement various trainings and workshops that build the capacities of the local authority and various sectors by working on the recovery plan.

Recently, the " Local Management System and Conflict sensitivity training for Civil Society Organizations and Community Committees" was implemented, which targeted 22 directorates in the governorates: "Aden - Lahj - Hadramout - Taiz - Marib" at a rate of (94 females and 317 men) for community committees in addition to (120 of females and 166 men) for civil society organizations.

They were trained in local management, conflict sensitivity and definitions, and the distinction between administrative decentralization, political decentralization, and principles of good governance.

All of this aims to familiarize the trainees with the local governance system and conflict sensitivity and its application in the local community, building capacity in the field of local administration, developing participation, and how to fruitful cooperation between the local authority and civil society organizations.
