#NMO_ORG implements a course in Humanitarian Photography for a group of photographers

Believing in preserving the dignity of the beneficiaries, #Nahda_Makers organization carried out a training course in humanitarian photography for the year 2022 for a group of photographers in Aden.

This course, which was trained by the first liaison officer in the organization, Mr. Awad Al-Tamimi, for 11 photographers in Aden, comes to strengthen humanitarian work with photographers who preserve the dignity of the beneficiary, especially in the distributions part.

The session addressed several topics, including:

  1. Definition of Human Photography.
  2. Principles of humanistic photography.
  3. Components of human photography
  4. Objects forbidden in human images.
  5. How to deal with the beneficiaries in the field.

 

The participants in the course were also acquainted with the concepts and ethics of humanitarian work and received practical training in the basics of photography in a way that preserves the dignity of the beneficiaries, in addition to how to deal with the risks that they may be exposed to while accompanying field teams, and dealing with various circumstances.

It is noteworthy that the organization, earlier last year, implemented this course for a group of photographers in various regions, and a second group will be trained in Aden, and a number of photographers will later be trained in Hadramawt (Mukalla + Sayun) - Taiz - Marib.
