#NMO_ORG launches Emergency Response to Evicted IDPs

Funded by the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations and in partnership with International Rescue Committee, #NMO_ORG launched its new project which is “Emergency Response to Evicted IDPs in Khanfar” District in “Abyan”.

This project, which will be implemented, will target “Al-Rudini” IDPs’ site in Khanfar district, as it aims to respond to the IDPs’ emergency response by raising their health awareness and reducing the risk of disease by implementing some activities as health awareness and distributing hygiene kits.

Recently, the organization implemented its first activities in this project, which is the activity of forming and training the supervisors and community volunteers, where they were trained on hygiene promotion messages in addition to awareness of COVID-19, which lasted for four days.

The second activity of the project is currently being implemented, which is the hygiene promotion awareness program for a month with basic hygiene promotion messages in addition to the COVID-19 for all displaced families in that area by the community health volunteers who have been selected and trained, and then the final activity will be implement, which is the distribution activity of hygiene kits for all families at Al-Rudini IDPs site.

It is noteworthy that the organization continues its permanent plan for the humanitarian response through the implementation of projects that work on that field.
