#NMO_ORG Launches Provision of Emergency, Life-saving Assistance to the Most Vulnerable IDPs Project

Within its sector in the field of “Food Security and Livelihood”, Nahda Makers organization launched its new project, which is (Provision of Emergency, Life-Saving Assistance to the Most Vulnerable IDPs at Qa’atabah district at Dhale Governorate) with the support of #YHF.

 This project, which is currently being implemented, seeks to alleviate the suffering of the internally displaced and the host community as a measure to save those lives as a result of the difficult and catastrophic living conditions they suffer from.

 It will also contribute to reducing extreme hunger among the very vulnerable families by distributing unconditional transfers in exchange for food to 1,029 displaced families who are facing extreme hunger in Qataba district, through the implementation of many different activities.

Earlier, the organization carried out many preparatory activities for the project in cooperation and coordination with the concerned authorities, such as establishing community committees, conducting assessments, conducting project progress workshop and gender-balanced sensitization and mobilization of the targeted communities.

Recently, a Baseline survey was carried out to establish FSL status before the intervention and to conduct the beneficiaries list verification.
