#NMO_ORG concludes the crisis support project to solid waste, water supply and sewage institutions in Mukalla and Aden

#NMO_ORG has concluded one of its most prominent projects in Governance and Skill-building Program, which is the crisis support project to solid waste, water supply and sewage institutions in Mukalla and Aden with support of #UNDP and funding from the #Japanese_government.

The project targeted 228 employees from solid waste, water supply and sewage institutions in both Aden and Mukalla governorates, which lasted for 10 months.

The project focused on developing the capabilities of employees in the targeted institution by training them on four basic components:

1- The first component: Capacity building in preparing strategic and financial plans.
Which aims to improve the performance of sector management through clear strategic and financial plans.

2- The second component: capacity building to improve work procedures.
Which aims to review administrative work procedures in institutions and improve them to a better approach.

3- The third component: building human resource capacity and empowering employees.
Which aims to motivate and enhance employees' knowledge and skills

4- The fourth component: Customer Service Management.
Which aims to improve relationships with clients through innovative community participation.

All of this aims to build the capacities of the solid waste, water supply and sewage institution in Mukalla and Aden to develop the level of performance of employees by strengthening the administrative systems and the capabilities of workers, to be more able to plan, organize and manage interventions and projects.

In addition to Governance and Skill-building sector, it is mentioned that the organization is working on other major programs and sectors which are: shelter - food security and livelihood - Wash Sanitation and hygiene - education and child protection and all of which aim to empower society through humanitarian response and sustainable development programs.
