Implementation of the training program - psychosocial support (PSS) within the project of education support for IDPs in Al-khokha and Al-Tuhayta districts in Al-Hudaydah.

Funded by #YHF and in partnership with the #NMO_ORG the training division of MoE office implemented the training program of psychosocial support (PSS) for teachers during August and September 2020 within the project of education support for IDPs in Al-Khokha and Al-Tuhayta districts in Al-Hudaydah.   

By targeting 80 male and female teachers who work in 8 schools in Al-Khokha and Al-Tuhayta districts, in which various topics were explained, the most important of which are:

1- The basic concepts of educational psychosocial support.

2- Mechanisms for communicating with children.

3- How to deal with traumatic events.

4- Breeding origins.

5- Lesson planning.

The activity aims to: provide teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to deal with children in emergencies.
