      Nahda  Makers Organization  concluded a training course for supervisors and volunteers within the Emergency Water and Sanitation Support Project with the support of UNICEF .

 

     Nahda  Makers Organization implemented the Water and Environmental Sanitation course within  Emergency Wash Support project for supervisors and volunteers for lahj\AL-Qubbaytah .

       This comes with the support of UNICEF , funded by OFDA and the World Bank.

      The course lasted for three days at a rate of 21 training hours with the trainer Mohamed Makhshm

     The course consisted four main topics. The most important topic was the four messages of water and environmental sanitation (hand washing, open defecation, good use of the bathrooms, water conservation and purification). Additionally, the cholera epidemic.

       This course aimed to raise the people awareness through volunteers and supervisors, as well as the construction of 343 rainwater harvesting tanks supported by UNICEF and implemented by the Nahda Makers Organization
