Launching of the work with solar energy in "Souq Al-Rabwa"

The Nahda Makers Organization started the water pumping operation at Souq Al-Rabwa region, Alqbitah district, in Lahj Governorate, which operates by solar energy, funded by UNICEF.

This includes within the Water and Environmental Sanitation Program to support displaced, and conflict affected people in five districts in Lahj Governorate(Toben, Tor Al-Baha, Almqatrah, Alqbitah, Mudaraba, Ras Alara).

Sheikh Ali al-Rifai, one of the leaders in the region, confirmed the importance of the project, which was based on an urgent need, especially after the influx of displaced people into the area and the shortage of neighboring wells. Thanking the efforts of UNICEF and Nahda Makers organizations and social interventions.
