#Nahda_Makers Implements a Life Skills Training Program in Al-Mawaset District

As part of its efforts to promote the economic empowerment of rural women and support local communities, #Nahda_Makers (#NMO) is implementing the "Economic Empowerment of Rural Women and Their Communities" project, funded by the (#BMZ) through #KfW, in partnership with the #DRC.

As part of the project's activities, the organization launched a Life Skills Training Program targeting 359 beneficiaries in Al-Mawaset District, Taiz Governorate. The training aims to equip participants with the personal, social, and practical skills needed to effectively address everyday life and labor market challenges.

The program focuses on strengthening participants’ capacities in effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management, contributing to improved economic and social opportunities while enhancing their ability to build more stable and productive futures.

Overall, the "Economic Empowerment of Rural Women and Their Communities" project targets 1,537 beneficiaries across Tuban District in Lahj Governorate and Al-Mawaset District in Taiz Governorate. The project aims to economically empower women and strengthen their role in the recovery of rural communities through sustainable development approaches, contributing to improved livelihoods and enhanced community resilience.
