As part of its efforts to strengthen development partnerships and empower women, Nahda Makers (NMO) signed partnership agreements with a number of civil society organizations and institutions under the project “Life-Changing Interventions for Women’s Prosperity,” funded by the #European_Union and implemented in partnership with #ZOA.
The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Taiz Governorate, in the presence of Mr. Fouad Al-Faqih, Director General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office. The event was also attended by Mr. Najeeb Abdullah, representative of the Planning Office, along with representatives of the district offices of Al-Mudhaffar, Salah, and Al-Qahira. In addition, project leadership from Nahda Makers participated, as well as the project team.
The partnership agreements included ten civil society organizations and institutions: Khubara Organization, Riaya Development Foundation, Hadaf for Development Organization, Jooden Organization, Wasl Organization, Resalati Foundation, Ma’an Foundation, Basmat Hayat Foundation for Persons with Disabilities, Ibdaa Shabab Organization, and the Protection and Rehabilitation Center for Women and Girls.
These partnerships aim to implement qualitative interventions that contribute to the protection and empowerment of women, improve access to essential services, support livelihoods, and build capacities, thereby enhancing opportunities for sustainable development within the local community.
Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between government entities and civil society organizations, reaffirming their commitment to implementing programs in accordance with quality and transparency standards to ensure a positive and sustainable impact that serves the community.
