Funded by the #European_Union and the #Yemen_Displacement_Response_Consortium and supported by #DRC, the #Nahda_Makers Organization implemented the supplying and delivering solar lighting poles lights security and safety tools, construction equipment and materials, to IDPs Sites in Lahj "Al-Hawtah and Tuban".
1011 individuals were targeted in the IDPs camps in those areas, and the organization worked to supply and implement solar lighting poles, security and safety tools, construction equipment and materials, and cleaning materials to those camps.
All this is aimed at improving the IDPs sites and enhancing community participation by involving site residents in their maintenance.
This comes within the project "Improve living conditions and support solutions for displacement-affected communities" which aims to coordinate and manage camps to ensure equitable access to assistance, protection and services for internally displaced persons (IDPs) (those living in displacement sites) with the aim of improving their quality of life and dignity during displacement.
