#Nahda_Makers Organization holds a training course for Hadramout office employees on media work in the humanitarian context

To enhance the development plan that the organization is working on to create sufficient awareness to employ the media effectively, #Nahda_Makers Organization organized a training course for the Hadhramaut office employees entitled “Media in Humanitarian Context,” which lasted for two days over six hours and was presented by the organization’s communication coordinator, Mr. Awad Muneer, who addressed several important topics related to the role of the media in humanitarian work.

The training topics included how to enhance the media’s relationship with fundraising, humanitarian photography methods and the use of mobile phones in photography, in addition to how to write written success stories and the best way to obtain the necessary inputs to write these stories. The difference between written and visual success stories was also highlighted, as well as the importance of following a specific policy in publishing on social media platforms.

This course aims to enable participants to acquire the skills necessary to effectively employ the media to highlight humanitarian issues, raise awareness, and develop the skills of employees in the media field.
