The Executive Director of the #Nahda_Makers Organization, Mr. Mohammed Al-Sayed, and the organization’s team made several inspection visits to the West Coast districts in which they inspected the organization’s projects. A series of meetings were held with the Office of Organization Affairs in the West Coast, the Director General of the Office of Education in Hodeidah Governorate, and the Director General of the Mokha District.
During these visits, the Executive Director discussed the details of the organization’s projects on the West Coast in the areas of education, child protection, food security, livelihoods, water and environmental sanitation. He also listened to the needs of the West Coast directorates, and the Executive Director confirmed the organization’s readiness to support local authorities and their offices.
In the presence of delegation from #UNICEF , led by the resident representative in Yemen, Mr. Peter Hawkins, inspection visits also continued to the camps for the IDPs , where they reviewed the compensatory education projects funded by #UNICEF and the equipment for classrooms, and listened to teachers and students and the challenges they face.
The details of the activities implemented by the project were reviewed, and the challenges and how to overcome them were discussed.
It is noteworthy that the organization continues to provide its programs in sustainable development and humanitarian response in various governorates.
