Within the project “Provision of Emergency, Life-saving Assistance to the Most Vulnerable IDPs at Qa’atabah district at Ad Dali’ Governorate, the #Nahda_Makers organization distributed cash-for-food transfers, funded by #YHF
This project, which is currently being implemented, seeks to alleviate the suffering of the internally displaced and the host community as a measure to save those lives as a result of the difficult living conditions they are experiencing. It also contributes to reducing extreme hunger among the most vulnerable families through the distribution of unconditional transfers for food.
Recently, in its fourth round, the organization distributed cash transfers to 1,029 displaced families who are facing severe hunger in that district.
All this to meet the basic food needs of the displaced in order to increase the availability and access to food for the most vulnerable families to reduce starvation, malnutrition and restore livelihoods.
In fact this project comes within the humanitarian interventions that the organization is working to implement in the food security and livelihoods sector.
