#NMO_ORG Participates in IsDB Annual Meetings 2022 in Egypt

#NMO_ORG, represented by the Executive Director: Mr. Mohamed El-Sayed, participated in the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank-2022 in its 47th session, held in "Egypt" during the period from 1-4 June 2022 under the theme " Beyond recovery: Resilience and Sustainability", in the presence of Ministers of Economy, Planning and Finance of the Bank’s 57 member states, and significant participation from international organizations, international and regional financial institutions, as well as representatives of Islamic banks, national development finance institutions, consultants from around the world, and the private sector.

Those meetings held many knowledge sessions on a variety of issues, in sustainable development, climate change, and food security. In addition to holding
a private sector forum to discuss new developments
and explore ways of consolidating economic and development relations between member states considering the ongoing international changes. In addition to the opportunities, it provides for discussions with the participating financing institutions and to maximize the benefit of Member States from the
services and financing provided by these institutions.

In the meeting, the Executive Director - Mr. Mohamed
El-Sayed, participated in the closing session, in the presence of the President of the Islamic Development Bank Group and the Minister of Planning & Economic Development in Egypt, on the importance of partnership with local civil society organizations in implementing development projects in member countries.

The participation of the #NMO_ORG in these meetings comes with the purpose of exchanging experiences and knowledge, in addition to learning about developments in the fields of development and climate issues, as well as strengthening relations with agencies related to development work.
