#NMO_ORG provides students with school kits

Within the project of “Education Support for IDPs in Lahj and Al-Hodeidah, #NMO_ORG distributed school kits for students in the Al-Musaimir "Lahj" district, with support of #YHF

This activity, which was implemented, provided students with school kits for 1,430 students, as 4 schools were targeted in coordination with the Education Office in Lahj.

They were provided with the supplies they need to go to school to ease the burden on the students' families as they live difficult conditions as a result of the displacement and conflict in the country.

This project, which is currently being implemented, will implement many other activities that will improve the capacity and quality of schools in the those areas to contain the increasing rates of displacement, the most important of which is the rehabilitation of targeted schools in those areas, including health facilities, and the distribution of a double school desks, conducting the necessary trainings for teachers and volunteers, providing incentives for them, as well as providing specialized programs that focus on children in severely affected areas and implementing return-to-school campaigns, which will help to keep schools near the sites of IDPs able to work and will enhancing the displaced families living in emergency sites transit, hosting and access to educational services.
