Nahda Makers Organization concluded the Ramadan food vouchers project for the year 1438H - 2017, which targeted 600 displaced and poor families in t Aden and Lahj governorates, funded by Islamic Aid Britain.
The project aims to distribute food vouchers to displaced and needy families in Aden and Lahj governorates by giving the target audience access to their needs through free shopping in shops.
The project targeted 600 displaced and poor families in the two governorates, with 300 families in each governorate.
Programs Director in Nahda Makers organization Faiza Altamimi stressed that the project came from the social responsibility of the Organization in the adoption and implementation of humanitarian projects, within the food security programs, and to promote mutual cooperation with international organizations.
Project Officer Sarah Amran said the project was implemented in several phases, with the aim of ensuring that food aid reached to the beneficiaries.
