Work location: Aden Governorate - 70% office work, 30% field work and travel
Purpose of the position:
The purpose of the job is to directly manage and supervise within the project of crisis support to Solid Waste, Water Supply and Sewerage Institutions in Aden and Mukalla and assistants management to perform the tasks related to the project according to plans and in line with the organization's strategic plan.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Preparing plans for the project with (purchases - cash - project plans).
2. Preparing purchase requests and following their submission and procedures with the Procurement Department.
3. Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate project work.
4. Supervising the implementation of work plans and completion of activities related to the project according to the work plan.
5. Preparing monthly reports and supervising the preparation of activity reports by the work teams.
6. Participate in preparing final reports with the project management
7. coordination with local authorities and stakeholders to facilitate project work. Implement activities as per the work plan.
8. Supervising the selection of field work teams and participating in preparing contracts.
9. Preparing financial attachments, submitting them to the financial department, and following up the payment of dues to those concerned
10. Direct supervision of a project assistant and performance appraisal
11. Supervising the lifting of vehicle movement plans for the project.
12. Supervising the preparation of training plans
13. Follow up the progress of training and submit periodic reports.
14. Coordination with trainers and providing the necessary needs before and during training.
15. Follow-up to liquidation of financial dues with stakeholders
16. Prepare the attendance sheet for the participants in the training.
17. Actively represent the organization in relevant meetings, events and exercises.
18. Coordination with other units of the organization and holding the necessary meetings to facilitate the implementation of projects.
19. Preparing IEC materials, following up its design, and printing process.
20. Encourage the team to present new and innovative ideas in the quality of projects and carry out their implementation.
21. Compliance with organizational systems, procedures, principles and values in the organization.
22. Supervising the development and training of the team and encouraging them for self-learning.
23. Participate in solving the difficulties and problems faced by the team
24. Perform other duties as required by the direct supervisor and related to his job location.

Qualifications and job experience
Degree and type of specialization: Bachelor in General (Education - Business Administration)
Type and number of years of experience: Three years in managing and coordinating similar projects
