Job Title: Project Assistant (Female)

Reporting to: Data Management Officer

Location: Aden 

Contract Duration: 3 months (With a possibility of renewal)

NMO is a registered national NGO with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 284. Our mission is to take the lead to empower communities in Yemen through humanitarian response and sustainable development programs in a professional way through effective partnerships. NMO started its activity in Yemen since 2012, and has been implementing projects in 5 sectors namely FSL, Education, WASH, Shelter, and Governance and skill-building

NMO is looking for an efficient and qualified person to fill the post of Project Assistant to carry out the following tasks:.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Establishing data bases properly based on the needed information and preparing and sorting document

• Entering data into Master database software precisely and ensure the accuracy of information and prevent duplication.

• Preparing fingerprint lists and cards.

• Editing the final lists with the feedback coming from field teams.

• Determining the received and non-received of assist from fingerprint lists to the database.

• Preparation the replacement reports.

• Preparing the amendments reports.

• Preparation conformity reports.

• Archive the hard copy to the appropriate file places.

• Archive the Soft copy to the files cloud.

• Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan.

• Assist the team in financial archiving.

• Assist other NMO teams with conducting assessments and distributions shelter/NFIs.

• Field visit at the request of the direct manager.

• Ensure the respect of the principle of confidentiality and not to disclose any information acquired by performing her/his duties

• Represent NMO with communities, local authorities and other stakeholders.

• Comply NMO policies and procedures with respect to code of conduct, child protection, equal opportunities, security and safety, and other relevant policies and procedures.

• Performing any other tasks related to the above-mentioned tasks.

Qualifications and Experiences

1- University degree in Information Technology or any other related certificate.

2- Two years of relevant work experience.

3- Strong computer skills especially advanced Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, or other design software.

4- Native Arabic, good written and spoken English. 

5- Proficient typing skills, computer skills, and knowledge of relevant software packages.

6- Organizational abilities and previous experience of working with NGOs.

7- Attention to detail, accuracy and structured way of approaching task.

8- Ability to work overtime or from home if required.

9- Ability to work in a stressful environment
