Rebuilding Early Childhood Education in Yemen Project in Aden
A modern educational curriculum… carefully designed to meet children’s needs and make their early years of learning more engaging and impactful
As part of the "Rebuilding Early Childhood Education in Yemen” Project in Aden, which concluded in December 2025, a specialized kindergarten curriculum was developed in line with modern educational standards and the needs of children aged 3–6 years, representing a key step toward improving the quality of education during the foundational early years.
Funded by #CRS and implemented by Nahda Makers #NMO in coordination with the Ministry of Education, the project targeted 14 kindergartens across different districts of Aden through integrated interventions that included:
- Training teachers on modern teaching methodologies.
- Implementing field-testing phases for the curriculum.
- Printing and distributing kindergarten textbooks to all targeted kindergartens.
- Preparing educational tools and learning games to support classroom activities.
At #NMO, we are proud of this sustainable impact as one of our most significant interventions in the education and child protection sector. It was not merely an educational intervention, but a comprehensive experience aimed at creating a more supportive learning environment for children.
