#NMO_ORG launches the (SPACE) project

 

#NMO_ORG launched a Supporting Protection and Access of Children to Education (SPACE) in its .main center in Aden, with the support of War Child Canada

At the beginning of the inauguration, the Programs and Projects Manager #NMO_ORG, Mr. Mohammad Al-Ghurabi, welcomed all the attendees, and stressed that this project targets the Al-Hamdani School in the Al-Tawahi district, and aims to support the educational process, and will improve children's access to providing a distinguished educational environment. 

The representative of the War Child Organization, Mr. Mohammad Ghazi, gave an introductory speech for the project, followed by a speech by the project officer, Ms. Somaya Salem , reviewed all the activities in detail, which are:

  • Distribution of sanitary bags.
  • Distribution of recreational bags.
  • Distribution of bags for teachers.
  • Distribution of chairs for teachers.
  • Solar installation and rehabilitation of the school.
  • Establishment of parenting council training.
  • Community protection.
  • Community activities led by children.

 

In fact, the inauguration was attended by many prominent government and educational figures in the governorate:

  • Kutbi Omar Kutbi, Director of the Tawahi Directorate
  • Anis Hajar, Director of the Education Office, Mr. Al-Tawahi
  • Hassan Mohamed Farhan, Consultant and Director General of the Office of Planning and International Cooperation
  • Abdul-Khaleq Raweh, Director of Al-Hamdani School
  • Ahmed Abdullah Nasser, head of the school's parents' council
  • Zakaria Hayel Ahmed, the school's chief financial officer

 

This project is considered one of the ongoing projects implemented by  #NMO_ORG in the education and child protection sector in the various governorates in the country.
