Food to Resilience: Greenhouses in Hadhramaut | NMO
In Hadramawt, greenhouses are opening new opportunities for farmers by providing a more favorable environment for agricultural production, contributing to stronger livelihoods and more resilient communities.
As part of the "Food to Resilience" (FuTuRe2) project, funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (#KSRelief) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (#BMZ), in partnership with the World Food Programme (#WFP) and implemented by Nahda Makers Organization (#NMO), 15 greenhouses have been constructed across the districts of Seiyun, Shibam, Al Qatn, Wadi Al Ain, Dawan, and Rakhyah in Hadramawt Governorate, directly benefiting thousands of people.
Because investing in agriculture means investing in food security, livelihoods, and a more resilient future.
