Hussein Saleh, a local farmer, shares how seasonal floods used to wash away the soil and destroy crops in Shibam, Hadramout. Funded by BMZ in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) and implemented by NMO, a 1,810 m³ rainwater gabion system was constructed. The project has benefited 1,053 beneficiaries , aiming to restore agricultural land and promote sustainable greenery in the area.
