#Nahda_Makers Organization participates in the 16th session of the United Nations Conference of the Parties in Riyadh COP16

#Nahda_Makers Organization participated in the 16th Conference of the Parties #COP16 to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification #UNCCD under the slogan "Our Land.. Our Future".

It is a major international event held this year in Riyadh from 2 to 13 December 2024, where members of countries, environmental organizations and stakeholders meet to discuss global efforts to combat desertification and land degradation.

Which constitutes an opportunity to commit to accelerating investment and work on restoring land and enhancing resilience to drought for the benefit of various countries as part of global efforts to combat desertification, while highlighting the role of land in food, energy and water security.

Through this conference, the organization will participate in several different sessions by reviewing its various sustainable projects that specialize in ways to enhance land sustainability, reduce desertification and drought, and address the repercussions of climate change, as well as its future aspirations in this regard.

During the conference, participating countries are expected to take collective action to accelerate the restoration of degraded lands, prepare for droughts, and ensure that the land can continue to provide climate solutions and secure biodiversity.
