#NMO_ORG participated in the closing event for project of emergency response to the immediate and wash need for IDPs in displaced areas and conflict affected neighborhoods within Al-Hudaydah, as it is one of the implementers of this project, supported by #UNHABITAT and funded by #Japanese_people.

This event honors the efforts made to help families who live in difficult living conditions due to the displacement they are experiencing from the conflict and this project, which was implemented by the organization, implemented several different activities, the most prominent of which was: the restoration of 30 houses destroyed by the conflict and building 4 new rooms, restoring and rehabilitating many bathrooms, installing 30 solar energy systems, providing job opportunities for people from the target areas through the cash-for-work mechanism, and training the beneficiaries in several skills such as: construction and rehabilitation works - electrical works - operating and maintaining the solar energy system, in addition to that the project worked on distributed Hygiene kits and promoting hygiene concepts through awareness-raising methods to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The event was attended by the Governor of Al-Hudaydah Governorate, Dr. Al-Hassan Taher", Programs and Projects Manager of #NMO_ORG "Muhammed Al-Ghurabi" and the project engineer, and a representative of #UNHABITAT Eng. Bassam Thabet.
