Position: Food Security and Livelihood Assistant
Location: Ad Dhalea with traveling to Aden governorates when need.
Responsible to : project Officer .
Contract period: 8 month
About Nahda Makers Organization:
NMO is a humanitarian organization implementing several program in WASH, Food security, Livelihood, Education and child protection program in Yemen since 2012. With funding from different donors.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for FSL activity implementation in specific communities/geographical areas and for specific beneficiaries. In collaboration with the relevant stakeholders and communities, organize the identification, registration, and verifications of beneficiaries Oversee beneficiary selection and verification process to ensure the correct procedures are followed and relevant documentation is completed in identified geographical areas. Ensure basic information on target beneficiaries is collected and recorded and shared with FSL Officers in a timely manner. With support from FSL Officer, responsible for compiling an appropriate monthly work plan for distribution times for identified beneficiaries. Ensure any problems in implementation/.,mnbvcxwe are reported to food security Officers in a timely manner and appropriate suggestion or action taken. Implement and supervise field assessments and surveys to monitor the situation Identify potential problems in the project implementation in the field and discuss suggested solution with project authorities or report to project officer. Ensure that Nahda Makers work is coordinated with efforts of other agencies and Government. Comply with Nahda Makers polices and practice with respect to protection mainstreaming, code of conduct, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
#Educational / Professional Background:
University degree in Agriculture, Food Security & Livelihoods specialization, or a related subject, 1 years of experience in a similar field. Good in written and spoken English and Arabic. good communication & negotiating skills. Good computer skills. Team management skills, with interest in support and develop the team. Resilience and the ability to work under pressure, organizing prioritization and multi-tasking skills. problem solving with ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Ability to write reports and collect data. responsibility, cooperation and take initiatives. Sensitive to gender issues and Gender Equity and Diversity (GED) principles.
