Solar Energy Engineer

Position: Solar Energy Engineer

Location: Aden and Abyan

Responsible: Project Officer

Main tasks:

- Coordination with local authorities and relevant authorities.

- Preparation of tables of quantities related to solar energy systems and electrical maintenance.

- Participating in tenders for the selection of contractors involved in solar energy systems.

- Monitoring the field of installation of solar energy and electrical maintenance and ensure the quality of the tools and the work of the system as agreed in accordance with the rules of safety and protection to ensure the longest possible life of use.

- Documentation of lessons learned, good practices and success stories in periodic reports.

- Receipt of the work stages of the contractors in a formal manner and ensure compliance with all

Requirements, and formal delivery to the beneficiary for completion.

- Raise awareness of those responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems.

- Any other functions related to the job

Qualifications required:

- University degree in electrical engineering.

- Experience of at least two years in the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems.

- Ability to manage and deal with contractors.

- Ability to prepare tables of quantities and engineering reports.

- Ability to write reports in Arabic and English.

- The ability to coordinate with the community and local authorities.

- Managing resources with maximum efficiency and sustainability.

- High skills in computer.

- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure.
