About Nahda Makers Organization:

NMO is a registered national NGO with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 284. Our mission is to take the lead to empower communities in Yemen through humanitarian response and sustainable development programs in a professional way through effective partnerships. NMO started its activity in Yemen since 2012, and has been implementing projects in 5 sectors namely FSL, Education, WASH, Shelter, and Governance and skill-building.

Nahda Makers Organization does not tolerate all forms of abuse such as (exploitation, sexual assault, harassment, bullying, or discrimination...)

The purpose:

Documenting the organization's activities and producing images with appropriate technical specifications to convey the idea of ​​the submitted content. He takes images and processes them to achieve the required goals. He also archives all images and videos on the organization's devices so that they can be easily referred to at any time the organization needs.

The conditions: 

1. You must own a professional camera for photography (photos - video) / or a professional mobile iPhone
2. At least 10 months of practical experience in the field of photography (photos - video)
3. The ability to travel to different governorates and stay overnight (for youth only).
4. The ability to work in difficult terrain conditions (for youth only).

Roles and responsibilities:

• Documenting the organization’s projects and activities (photos - video) in accordance with the media policies followed by the organization and the donor
• Commitment to the organization’s rules and regulations
• Processing publishable images using the latest software (select software).
• Save all photos and videos as the organization’s property, so that they are delivered as a trust to the organization and released.
• Filming success stories (photos and videos).
• Arranging scenes, lighting, and backgrounds to achieve the goal of the photographic shots.
• Dealing with beneficiaries and solving problems in a smooth manner.

Skills and abilities

• Familiar with the basics of professional photography.
• The ability to use computer programs (MICROSOFT SOFTWARE).
• The ability to modify images using Adobe programs.
