NMO is a registered national NGO with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 284. Our mission is to take the lead to empower communities in Yemen through humanitarian response and sustainable development programs in a professional way through effective partnerships. NMO started its activity in Yemen since 2012, and has been implementing projects in 5 sectors namely FSL, Education, WASH, Shelter, and Governance and skill-building.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing all contracts for the organization's employees and projects.
  2. Organizing and keeping individual records for employees, ensuring the completeness of documents in accordance with the requirements of the job file, and maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of data.
  3. Preparing and updating the employee database periodically.
  4. Preparing and updating a database of all job applicants and participating in its recruitment to serve the organization
  5. A representative of the organization in communicating with the health insurance company on all related issues and working with them as a link on all issues and claims of employees and following up on their needs.
  6. Archiving the attendance reports and their attachments for the employees, both in paper and electronically, on a monthly basis.
  7. Periodic inventory of the units' self-learning plans and sending reports to the human resources officer.
  8. Participate in the implementation of the study of the training needs of the organization annually.
  9. Participate in the implementation of recruitment processes according to the organization's own procedures and with the highest degree of transparency and equal opportunities for competitors.
  10. Participate in coordinating the induction sessions for new employees.
  11. Preparing, coordinating and implementing training courses according to the approved plan, and submitting reports and recommendations to the human resources officer.
  12. Preparing and arranging activities and events related to the dissemination of culture, regulations, institutional visions and positive relations between the work team in order to achieve continuous improvement of the work environment.
  13. Participate in preparing the requirements of donors and auditors from human resources, as requested by the direct supervisor.
  14. Participation in the selection of volunteers and workers for the daily wage of the organization and projects.
  15. Preparing monthly plans and reports and submitting them to the direct supervisor.
  16. Active participation in periodic meetings and meetings in the organization.
  17. Investing in opportunities and resources for self-learning and developing a network of professional relations to raise specialized competence.
  18. Follow the occupational safety and health instructions while performing the tasks.
  19. Raise suggestions and perceptions that would raise the level of performance in the organization and inform the concerned persons of any matters that might affect the integrity, impartiality and reputation of the organization.
  20. Comply with the systems, procedures, principles and institutional values ​​considered in the organization.
  21. Performing other duties related to the job field as requested by the direct manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field .

-  Six months to one year experience in working with humanitarian organizations in the field of Human Resources .

- Intermediate level in written and spoken English .

-Knowledge with the laws regulating work and employment in the Republic of Yemen and the wage and employment systems.

- Work under pressure skill .

- Good knowledge of MS Microsoft programs .

-Calm and restraint the responsibility initiative and positivity.

-Planning and Organizing .

-High ability to communicate and work effectively with others .

-Ability to manage multiple files and work under pressure .

-The ability to learn quickly and self-growth .
