NMO is a registered national NGO with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 284. Our mission is to take the lead to empower communities in Yemen through humanitarian response and sustainable development programs in a professional way through effective partnerships. NMO started its mission in Yemen in 2012 and has been implementing projects in 5 sectors namely FSL, Education and Child Protection, WASH, Shelter, and Governance and Capacity Building.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training organization teams and units on the requirements of donor report templates and support the program team in all reports and ensure that reports meet donor expectations and requirements.
  • Review the reports submitted to donors and delivering them with high quality standards before the due dates.
  • Translate reports and documents of projects from Arabic to English or vice versa.
  • Exchange ideas with the Grants and Reporting Senior Officer to improve the grant management and proposal writing process.
  • Gather information for project proposals.
  • Participate in the plaining process of Needs Assessment and setting prioritization.
  • Regularly follow up on funding opportunities, and periodically review multiple donor sites to identify calls for proposals.
  • Participate in the process of fundraising and writing and developing proposals for donors in cooperation with sector managers and the Monitoring and Evaluation Department.
  • Ensure compliance with donor standards.
  • Represent the organization in events, training, and meetings for donors and partners.
  • Invest in learning opportunities and resources and work to develop professional competence.
  • Adherence to the procedures and policies of Nahda Makers Organization.
  • Provide technical support, training and clarifications about reports as requested.
  • Perform any other duties related to the job field as requested by the direct supervisor.   

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelors in English, Development, Project Management or any other related major.
  • 1 year experience in humanitarian field, grants and reporting field specifically.
  • Experience with INGO is preferable.
  • Professional reading, writing and speaking English skills.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs.
